At the moment I am researching for my A2 Media Studies Coursework, I have got to write an essay then produce a linked production - I want my linked production to be a print ad for Dr Who. I have decided to base my coursework on Science Fiction, to be more specific a Tv programme, like Dr Who for example but I don't know what to look for exactly. Does any one know of any media debates that fit in with my topic?
Example of media debate: Women are represented as 'passive' and men are 'active' but what can be said for Dr Who if I were to analyse the characters, or maybe I could focus on something else? Can you help me 'cause I don't know what that 'something else' is, thanks.
