Here's my situation... I'm a Verizon Wireless customer who's ready to upgrade phones. I have a business where I take phone calls and set/track appts on Microsoft Office on my PC, my wife sets appts on her PC, and I see clients and want to be able to set appts at their place. When either my wife or I sets an appt, the other has to manually enter it onto their computer so the calendars match. We have a wireless network and want to be able to share ONE consolidated calendar. How do we do that (Do we need Microsoft Exchange Server?) and what "SmartPhones/PDAs" would work best for us?
I'm sure I'd like internet access when I'm away from the office and stuff like that, but right now, the calendar issue is the biggest thing. One other thing, too, I guess... If I've got digital surveillance systems at a couple of physical locations, can I use a smartphone to remotely access the surveillance system to "check on things" the same way I would with a PC?
Thanks... I'd really appreciate any and all feedback.
