I have a plan with Verizon w/ unlimited texting and however much minutes (w/no data). My fiance wants to add a line to my plan (upgrading to a family plan...) with an HTC Droid Eris phone. This phone needs a data plan. My questions are these: Can I upgrade us to the family plan when one phone requires the data plan and one doesn't? (I have the EnV Touch which NOW requires a data plan when bought, but I bought mine when they first came out and didn't need one with it... would I have to get one if I changed my plan now? I only upgraded my phone in June/July or so...
I'm just very confused in how I can upgrade and order the phone in one swift move...
Calling Verizon would be smart, but the phone isn't under my name, it's under my mom's. I can't do anything over the phone without having her by my side. Why not put it under my name? I have no credit and can't afford to pay the ridiculous deposit. Therefore I'm trying to do everything possible online, lol. But thank you.
