Need lincoln/ford help... lincoln ls wont start.....misfiring for a while....?

Car has been misfiring while in idle....and when I get up to speeds of around 50 mph. I was on E when I went to get gas today it was sputterin bad I made it to gas station and put gas in. Went about 100 feet and totally died and won't start atl all engine cranks but won't turn over. Check engine light is NOT on...I know the problem whith the coils on the ls...just need more opinions
 
You better change that coils. It would affect other parts if you would continuously ignore them. It would affect the engine later on. When I replaced my coils for my Chevy Cobalt SS, it cost me $59.46. Since we have different make and model, I'll give you a source where you can find the estimate of the part you need.
 
If there is an answer to this question it is a GUESS! You need to provide the vehicle information YMM (year, make, model and engine size) and the symptoms that led up to this event!
