I have a '90 4.2l 6cyl auto with 84k on odo. Now, when starting it and when stopped it idles erratically. It is around 700 to 1200 and it tends to shake as well. But, when accelerating it is fine. There is also a hint of a gasoline smell; more than usual. I am in the process of replacing oil filter, spark plugs, etc. Anything I should do even more? Also, it non carbed. The previous owner had the Howell Fuel Injector kit installed. Thanks for the assistance.
