I am going to start my studies at stony brook in business administration. I did my associate of business transfer degree from Portland Oregon and I am aware that if I transfer to SUNY I'll have to few extra core classes to get admitted in school of business, correct me if I m wrong. Could anyone please tell me what someone studies at SUNY at their first two years if they want to do the major in business?

SUNY is big into the sciences. Because of the heavy mathematics involved in the sciences they tend to spill over into the biz school. I graduated from there years back and can tell you it is a very reputable school. But to answer your question you can take courses in corporate financing, macro economics, and your math classes. My major was Multi-Interdiciplinary-Studdies (MIS) and created my own major, you choose 4 areas on concentration with a focus on say business. You may also want to look into that. Your best bet is to speak to an advisor. Hope I was able to answer your question.
