Need info on the Popes and catholic churches history,atrocities committed by

the Roman Catholic Church history? I would like too know if anyone one is aware of all the autrocities committed by the Roman Catholic Church in History,Also of the comparrison of Revelations Mystery Babylon,and Daniels Beast? Eerie simularities too what the Roman Catholic Church committed in the early days through crusades and inquisitions...Also in Daniel where it talks about how this beast killed the saints of God,and she was drunk with the wine of her fornication,way too many simularities with the catholic church and how it forced catholosisim on the masses,and how the church (the TRUE CHURCH)went too the hills for 1260 years while the beast killed all who apposed them! And how God prepared a place for the true church of GOD in the mountains..All recorded in history,but I do not know of good books that record the catholic autrocities committed by them.I have the bible and what light it brings too the history of the catholic church would seem it goes hand in hand with thier murderous beginings.I know there are books out there that have this secular history documented.Anyone know any good books???
 
A good source is the writings of the ante-Nicene Fathers. You can also read the declarations of the Ecumenical Councils and the Encyclicals of the Popes. The Catholic Encyclopedia is a good reference source for Church history.

If you want false, fanciful, revisionist history you can read the anti Catholic sources of Jack Chick, Loraine Boettner and Alexander Hislop but you want find a lot of real history there.

If all that fails you it might be wise to read what Jesus promised about His Church like being the enduring Church that will never fall into apostasy which is called in the Bible the "pillar and foundation of the truth. You might also see what Jesus said about Protestants and other heretics when He prophesied that there would become a time when some would follow false teachers because they can no longer endure sound doctrine and will seek out those who satisfy their itching ears. That decribes well most Protestants who prefer man-made sects with man-made doctrines to that which Christ and the disciples founded. Jesus prayed that we all be one in His Church just as He and the Father are one. Isn't it time that you repented for your disobedience and abandoned your pride and come into His will and His Church?
