Need info on Boost and I415 phone

Hello everyone, I would like to know about boost and the I415 phone, I have t mobile now but am sick of paying .25 a minute to talk to everyone as I understand Boost is only .20 a minute during day and .10 from 9pm-7am is this the truth? anyone have one that can say if this is true or not..

I also was told you could use the walkie talkie for like $1.50 a day.


I would like to know how much time do you get with the cards like $20 how many minutes it give you ?
and the $30 and $50.

Right now I get like 60 minutes with $10.00 but I know Boost dont have $10 card the lowest I have seen are $20.00.

Also are the I415 phones any good? I dont like flip phones myself and this only one I have thats not flip.
I can get it for $69.99 with $10 on it from a local gas station.

seems to me you answered most of your own questions. boost is 20c during the day and 10c at night, also its always 10c to talk to other boost and nextel users (not sure if sprint is included in the 10c in-calling because they recently merged with nextel).

also the walkie-talkie is 1.50 per day that you use it. you won't be billed 1.50 on the days you dont use the walkie talkie feature, but if you use it every day you can expect to pay $45/month plus whatever minutes you use.

since the minutes vary between 10c and 20c and since the walkie-talkie is 1.50/day, i am just guessing but i would assume that how many minutes you get varies by who you call at what time of day. $10.00 broken down by 10c is 100 minutes, broken down by 20c it's 50 minutes, and by walkie-talkie-only you get about 6 days use for $10.

i hope this helps..... i talked a friend out of boost because he planned to use the walkie-talkie every day and figured out with the $45/month plus the per-minute charges he might as well sign up for a plan and get more features for the same price.

tracfone just came out with www.net10.com but read the fine print you only have 60 days to use your minutes, however they do rollover if you recharge before 60 days. seems all the prepaid carriers have some kind of catch, and if i had to go prepaid, net10 is probably the most reasonable on rates, with no hidden fees or roaming charges.
 
sorry i forgot to comment on the i415 phone. my last phone was a motorola. the signal was always great, the screen stayed beautiful and clear for almost 5 years that i had it (yes 5 years) and it was dropped and abused numerous times and survived.

i dont have any experience with an i415 but i read the specs on http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=775 and i think its good enough that i'd buy it if i was in the market for one.
 
Thanks for the response, I would be useing mostly for texting and some talking. I know text is 10 cents a text to send and nothing to recive.

I just wondered when I add time to it with a $20 or $30-$50 card how much time it gives you , and how long does the time last for?
