I'm writing a 15 page paper on "anchor babies" (Not my word or view) and illegal immigrants. My thesis is about amending the 14th amendment (again, not my view so don't attack me). My problem is that I'm stuck on the beginning of page 13. I already have my conclusion written. I just need to think of one or two more things to put in the paper some place that can take up a page or two (I'm willing to research, I just need ideas).
Here's what I've got in my paper so far:
Statistics on the amount of illegal immigrants.
Stats on the costs to our economy.
The reality of these families with legal children but illegal parents.
The wording of the 14th amendment, and what it really means.
The intent of the framer's of the Constitution.
Arguments against the 14th amendment (talking about overpopulation and costs).
Arguments for why it should not be changed.
Amendment suggestions and current proposals.
It's not exactly in that order...but have any ideas of what I could add? Just throw anything out there... Thanks!
