So long story short, i accidently wet my phone.. and the litmus paper on the phone is red, but the battery it's white, so my phone is damaged. stupid me decided to charge it while the wet battery was in there..yeah great idea, i think i short circuited it..i immediately buried it in rice for at least 24 hours, tried again, nothing happened, i dont think i can save it anymore..
i bought this phone like in july and its only been a few months..i dont have insurance for it either..i bought it for 400$..i dont want to pay another 400 for a new phone... i dont know what to do.. should i say i lost my phone, got it stolen? I mean i still have my Sim card.. so if i get a new blackberry, would i have the same bbm pin # and stuff? how does this work.. any help / tip is appreciated ! thanks.
