need help with this financial aid?

i need some help advice and what not okay well ive done everyhting my college has ask of me took an atb test cause i have adiploma passed all subjects math reading and writing.i even went directly to them to give them copies of my w2 but they said it wasnt that fafsa nor the school was asking for it needed school is going to begin on the 18th and i need the money for books but i also read that books arent needed till atleast the third week of school should i be okay oh and i sent my fafsa in on dec 14th since then no response from the school
