Need Help with the Motorola Droid?

i just recently bought the motorola droid yesterday. i spent a half hour adding contacts into my phone and thenn i decided to sign up for the facebook app for the android. thenn all my contacts were gone... i think it connects to facebook because whenever i text a name, it shows the numbers but i didnt even add it onto my phone.. what should i do? im gonna add the contacts again but it might get deleted again..& also how can i tell if the person im texting have verizon or not? there should be a sign right?
 
All you have to do is uninstall the facebook app for your droid tap and hold and blank area of your main screen the scroll down to facebook select it and hit uninstall, then just download the regular app. Personally i love the facebook app for the droid. On the droid it is kinda hard to tell if someone you are texting has verizon. On an older phone it puts a check next to the message if they have verizon or an arrow if they dont. I reccomend getting unlimited text it is only 9.99 a month
