I purchaced an interesting looking film in the Indiana Jones style that I have never seen before called 'The Ark Of The Sun God' - made in 1983. It stars David Warbeck and is filmed in Turkey. My Beta tape arrived today and we all sat down to watch it but half way through we are starting to lose the plot.
It is probably simple - but these points elude us.
1. Why are the English people in the kings house at the beginning - are they in league with the king?
2. What was David Warbeck's mission - was there something in the shaving case?
3. Why did not the king go into his house to sort out the intruders?
4. Who paid for the hotel room at the beginning (the one with the sleazy muzak playing).
5. Why did not the king just employ the theif instead of trying to capture his girlfriend?
6. Why did they go to the terrible sweaty disco?
I feel that the film may be overdubbed with slight errors but cannot be sure. Anyway, we have stopped it half way to see I can find out the answers.
