Okay so i'm needing some help with setting up a youtube video.

Kay so i recorded myself singing a song, i have the video file thing on my computer.
I keep trying to use my windows video maker thing to make a slide show of pictures while the song is playing out and it's confusing me.
I keep trying to make a caption for it and everytime i save it, apprently i'm not doing it right because it doesn't work.
Help? lol
