A 1200KG car is being pulled by a thick rope connected to a truck. After stopping at traffic lights the tension in the rope is a constant 3000N for a distance of 40m. The frictional force resisting the motion of the car is 300N.

a) How much work is done on the car?

b) Calculate the speed of the car at the end of the 40m of towing, knowing that the work done on an object will be equal to its gain in Kinetic energy.

Appreciate any help. thx
