Need help with naming a kids tv show.?

Right i was only about 4 or 5 when this tv show was on, so i cant remember much about it

Ok it was a kids show in the 90s it was a kids tv show and it was about a girl who turns into a hairy monster or something like that.

Please help me this is really bugging me because i cant ember what it was, sorry about the information i can only just remember it. it MIGHT have been shown on CITV
