I am writing a song for my boyfriend. I ultimately need to describe that I want to love him, but it will take me time because I am so broken and have trust issues. One of my lines is: "I am emotionally dead, like a rock unmoved by water." That line is something I said to him and I would like to incorporate it. I need some more lines to go into my song regarding my predicament or a line to finish that one off. Please help!
