well basically i jailbroke my iphone 3g 3.1.3 with spirit but it became slow and sluggish so i decided to restore it and 3/4 of the way through the restore it comes up with error 1015. i have tried restoring using my os 3.1.3 ispw file but that doesn't work either :/ please help thanks 
by the way i am using a macbook os x 10.6.3 snow leopard but i do have access to my p.c. if needed,
