need help with my htc evo 4g?

every time i try to transfer videos from my evo to my pc or from my pc to my evo the video when tranferd does not have any sound and im curious as into why....also when transferring pictures from my evo to my pc there are random pictures of things/people that i have to clue or as into why it was tranfferd at all because its not on my phone
