Just got a 'new' Jetta. Sweet little car, but the radio/stereo (whatever) is broken. It wont turn on at all no matter what I do. The previous owner told me it had something to do with replacing the battery, and after it was replaced the radio would need to be reset.
I did a little research and looked all over the internet. I found a forum that said to take out fuse #42, then reinsert it after leaving it out (for 10 sec - 2 min). However this does not work for me. I've tried over ten times. Anyone else have any suggestions on what to do? Need anymore information? Lol.
