I was divorced in 2000 and my ex was givin custody even though i had paperwork in kansas showing that my 2 childern had been abused in her care . I was taken off work before the divorce and have never been able to work since and have not been able to pay child support . And now have a feloney warrent for my arrest and could be sent to prison . And my ex has not let me see my childern since 1998 ( when she took off with my best friend ) i havent been able to find them and I just dont know what to do anymore . My health is failing real bad and I dont know if I will be able to stay alive long enough to get to see them again or stay out of prison
is there something I can do about buck support , and more important get to see my children

An attorney and the court process is your only alternative regarding your difficulties.

You need to address the warrant, get back into court and amend your support order. Regardless of any amendment to the original order, the amount in arrears will remain the same. You MUST consistently pay an affordable amount monthly, (determined by the court) towards the arrears to stay out of jail.

As far as being able or allowed to see your children, your inability to pay support or the fact that you are in arrears has nothing to do with your right to visitation. Had you known their whereabouts, by law, you would have been entitled to visits with an established visitation order.
