Need help with Ford F-250,6.0 ltr. diesel?

My truck engine started surging and idling funny, then stalled several times during the day..I changed Fuel Filters and ran for about 5 minutes and stalled.. Now won't start , but fuel pump running for way too long..If i turn key on & off for acouple times, will start but barely run for a bit then cut off.. what could the problem be ????? PLEASE HELP !!!
