Need help with drums!!?

okay, so I want to get a pair of drums for my room ( i am 11 years old) and my mom won't let me because it makes too much sound. I have tried affording an electric set, yet a drum teacher from my music school says that any set under $1,300 will break in a while. I have 500$$ and can afford an acoustic set but still, it will make too much noise. I have heard of silencers but i still want to be able to hear the drumms when I play (over guitar and other instruments). Any suggestions?? Thanks
 
well you could get the silencers and then play regular when you have a guitar and other instruments playing. or you could get the electric set. its realyl up to you, anyway u look at it, noise will be a factor.
