Need help with "Digital Concepts" Card Reader for uploading pictures/videos?

Alright, so I've come across an unusual issue. A couple days ago, I tried to upload pictures and videos from my camera to my computer, and it didn't work (although the day prior, it worked fine). The actual device accepts the memory card and acknowledges this by changing its color when the memory card is inserted. My computer also accepts the Digital Concepts device by emitting a sound and it displays the program on the list. However, the memory card, while accepted by the device, is for some reason ignored by the computer, which fails to observe any kind of data within the machine, stating that there is nothing within the memory card. In addition to the fact that this card is accepted by the Digital Concepts Card Reader but not the computer, it's also unusual because I was able to upload pictures and videos the day before, and it worked fine. Not to mention, I have even tried this on a different computer, and it still didn't work. If it isn't a problem with the memory card, device, or computer, then what could be wrong? Thanks.
