I'm just starting to write this novel and I have a problem. When writing a dialogue, words like "said", "ask" gets really repetitive. How do I go about not doing so? And is there a way or a website that will show me how to write with more passion or depth, it seems easy when I read other books but when I do it myself it's so hard.

Instead of saying "What are you talking about?" she asked, maybe try something like "What are you talking about?" She set her coffee mug down and narrowed her eyes. Add details. Paint a picture for us.
Or use words like declared, stated, spoke, uttered. Try to be as exact as you can. You know how you want the character to say the sentence/phrase; convey that to us so we're on the same page.
Other words for "ask": inquired, posed a question, queried, questioned.
