Need help with connecting my ps2 slim to the internet?

I read some where that i could connect my ps2 to the internet through my computer. I thought this would be a good idea, because i don't have a cable modem or anything like that. i was told i could use my sierra wireless aircard 595u. They just said i had to buy a cat 5e ethernet cable. They said to plug one end in to the ps2 and one end into the computer. I need know how to have my computer recognize it. Theres a setting some where. there must be a way. HELP
 
i also have a ps2 so i know how 2 do this TRUST ME...

ok first u have 2 have a ethernet cable connect 1 end 2 the ps2 and 1 end 2 the computer how u do this is for the computer:u should have a device {forgot wat it is called} plug the ethernet cable into that and it should work
