In my English class we are doing policy debates, and my assigned topic is Childcare. I need to come up with solid negative and affirmative arguments covering three voting issues: Harms and Significance, Solvency, and Inherency.
If you have any ideas of arguments that I could use for the debate utilizing the above voting issues, that would be a huge help. I am especially having difficulty finding negative point, for there is nothing harmful about helping children in poverty. Affirmative arguments along with a plan of action would be much appreciates as well!
Just in case, the prompt is:
Currently, parents living in poverty lack the adequate childcare services where they can leave their children when they go to work, which prevents them from getting a job, thereby perpetrating their economic condition.
