need help with chevy venture 2001 fuse question?

for a month or so I could tell my battery needed replacing. It eventually gave out and to test my alt, I was able to boost my van and it ran smoothly. But after 20 minutes it turns over but no start. Classic signals I need a new battery. Leaving it for a couple weeks, I finally replaced it with a new one from Canadian tire that they looked up twice and when installed, I tried starting. I got 2 good cranks than everything died. Now no electrical anywhere. I figure its a simple fix but if anyone knows or has had this happen to them can help me with the exact mini fuse I need because all the 10 - 30 amp fuses are fine and I cant remove and will not try to remove the larger COMPONENTS in the little box above the battery. Im on a tight budget like everyone else and hope someone can direct me as to the cause and solution to help save me a few bucks. Plus Im in BC Canada, so US made ventures may not be the same but any help would be great. Thanks
