Need help with buying my ac compressor.?

Hi i need a rear ac compressor for my sprinter. I am trying to get some answers from mechanics or specialists who fix cars and vans or trucks. My question is can any other ac compressor compressor from other car/van/truck can fit on my sprinter. Please help me out if you know the answer.
