Need help with a film name!

Sorry if this sounRAB bizarre but I watched a really poor film ages ago with my mates (because its so bad) and I cannot remember the film name but I do remember the following..

Cast was a father, mother, teenage daughter, some guy.

For some reason they end up on Mars? or some planet all together.

There is 1 monster walking around near them

they make a home on planet (a square of rocks!)

Guy ask father if he can marry daughter, he says yes.

They get married in house then go for a walk lol.

Monster tries (poorly) to attack man and new wife.


Sorry if this sounRAB awful but the film was so bad I want to watch it again :)

I forgot to add that the film was black and white probably from early 50's?

although it was originally called Space Family Robinson - so maybe thats the movie you have in mind.
 
It certainly sounRAB like Forbidden Planet.
Leslie Nielsen is walking with Anne Francis in Morbius' garden when her pet tiger attacks them and is vaporised by a ray gun blast.
