My brake light's and turn signal's don't work unless I hold the multi. function lever down. I've heard this is a common problem with buick's and want to know if I can replace Multi. switch myself and if this would fix the problem.

I'm not expecting too much response and a answer like go to a mechanics shop doesn't really help. but all well.
