need help with '05 jeep liberty renegade?

i have a stock jeep liberty renegade. i went "off-roading" and i got stuck in a pit of dirty water. i was towed out and when i tried to start it, it would just click and not do anything. after a couple hours to let it dry i tried again and it would just click really fast. i even tried to jum it but nothing is working.
 
battery, starter solenoid . if you turn on lights and they seem fine rule out batt, have someone stand close to starter and have them listen if noise is coming from there. then prob is else where when you find where clicking noise is coming from you will find you part that is not working correctly
