So I've been on youtube for a couple hours allotted, and I haven't been able to find one real martial arts sparring match, or a competition fight that isn't split up into two second fights each.
What I want to find out is how people actually fight using martial arts, I don't want to see some choreographed demonstration, or a home video of little kids in their karate class. I want to see how intense a fight can really be.
I'm thinking of joining either Kung Fu or Taijutsu, or something else (and before you tell me "Kung Fu > Taijutsu" or something, I'm finding the martial art best for me), and so I want to know what I can expect when I start to actually fight.
Also, in Karate Kid, that last fight, do they really have competitions with no padding? Or was that just for the movie?
