...than Restarts, Repeats.? Mmmmk, so... like the header of this states...
I'm currently running Windows 7 Ultimate x86(32bit) on my Laptop, it is a genuine copy, but no disc.

I installed it on my new HDD through a 500gb External HD correctly, But I cannot access my BIOS on my laptop because it is password protected (never put a password on it) and I've tried locating the CMOS battery, no luck.. at all. SO what I did was, hooked my HD and External Drive up to my cousins laptop, installed perfectly, and I was on the desktop, fresh..downloaded Firefox and checked to see if it correctly installed everything (32bit, and not 64) It is for sure 32bit... it worked fine.

What I am experiencing is, My Sony Vaio (2.1ghz, 3gb ram, 32bit, Dual Proc) Sounds like it is running my HDD a little too hard, and when it gets to the "Starting Windows" screen (before the logo swirls up and glows) the computer flashes to the blue error screen and restarts.

The only options I have through "Esc, F2, F10 and F12" is the Non-accessable BIOS, All Safe Modes do not work... they restart as well, Last Known Good Config, and Start Windows Normally... they ALL restart my laptop.

I'm very stumped and left clueless, if someone could help me, I would HIGHLY appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
I installed Windows 7 onto my HD FROM the External.

And I just tried the Disable Auto Restart... It's still restarting.
