Need Help: Samsung U420 Nimbus

I have tried lots of ways to fully flash the Nirabus. The secret menus are pretty accessible, but I have not been able to turn the trick.
Their is alot of good info about accessing the secret menus here:
file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Administrator/Desktop/u420_files/t232163-samsung-u420-did-i-just-buy-very-sexy-peice-crap-2.html

But I have not been able to put it in DM mode. Also, the QPST profile that it comes up as has no way to switch it into Simple IP only.

Samsung PST Lite- Ive tried multiple Dlls but cannot seem to put it in DM mode.
Ive tried to put it in DM mode with unicdma but no dice.

Would really appreciate some help.

PS: for some reason I cannot open any files with QPST EFS explorer anymore. When i try to overwrite files with Bitpim it will say the file is restricted/blocked by provider, but when i try with qpst efs explorer i cant open anything.

Update to this ever popular thread (population 1):
I was able to get it in dm mode with unicdma by following these directions:
"All Samsung models must be switched to DM mode MANUALLY via keyboard, before
start to work, read instruction below:

Press 47*68#13580 or 47*869#1235 in order to enable "Test Mode" , now press 021 (or 21),
you must see "SIO Mode" now or something like that, change DM mode to QDMS (or QXDM), save it,
press 002 (or 02) in order to exit from "Test Mode". Now enter "Test Mode" again and check DM mode
to make sure that you changed DM mode successful.

Now you can use CDMA Workshop or other tools.

For read SPC or change ESN you may use UniCDMA with 16 digits password depending of model.

Run UniCDMA v1.098 , choice "SKY IM-1200/1400", choice "Baud Rate" to 115200(or other) and choice custom
16 digits password"

But after both of those Samsung pst lite still cannot read settings. I got the u410 dll, and at least sam pst can read the general information...yippee for general information.
Damnit.

Try the u540 v. 1.0.09 dll (an older one) works on a lot of samsungs. Also you might have to change the port map in the hidden menu to get SPST to read it right. There are normally three settings. I always switch them to USB,USB, and Null in that order. I have a tutorial in my sig that might work on it. The a870/u410 one.
