i have a 1997 dodge dakota V6 standard, im replacing the O2 sensor that's located before the catalytic converter. i got the old O2 sensor removed with no trouble, but the new sensor i bought looks a little bit different than the old one, like the old one has a more squarish cylinder head and the old one has a more spherical cylinder head the new one is also i bit bulkier than the old one. is this just the newer design for the O2 sensor (since the old one is probably from 1997) and will it work if i put it on? or should i wait and get another one?
