need help on debate!?

heres the prompt: for ending the Great Depression and defeating the germans and japanese, the WWII generation was the "greatest generation" - DISAGREE

well the only argument i've got is that the US (allies) had to exchange many lives and money in order to win...are there anything else that i can say? i am rebuttal by the way, so i have to say that the "great generation" wasnt so great
 
The generation was the baby boomer generation which as they matured into their 20's in the 60's they were a generation of druggies and un-marital sex. Now in the 2000's it's a problem to pay for their social security checks.
