It would be a great help if anyone could give me some guidelines, advices, and the format for the Financial Aid appeal letter.
Here is the reason for the appeal;
From Feb 2009, my mother has been unemployed due to poor economic status. Since then, she has been receiving unemployment insurance award (EDD). Meanwhile my father is supporting the family. Compare to last year, he earns a lot lesser than the previous years - thanks to the economic again. As for my sister, she is in nursing school right now, trying to support herself. She has a part time job and barely supporting herself through school and her daily expense. As for me, i am a second year in UC Davis. Since my parents are in financial difficulty, they can't even afford any extra money to support me. I tried to get a summer job this year, but no one seems to be interested in hiring an undergrad who will quit in the end of Sept.
