I'm on Verizon and it's time for a new phone. My current one is on its last leg. Luckily my new every 2 is here...(I wonder if Verizon has a "break" button they hit when the two years is up..)

Anyway, I'm having trouble deciding what to get. The last 3 phones I've had were the LG-4500 (loved), the LG-8300 (super loved), then the LG-5400 (meh) after my 8300 broke (the downgrade on the camera and screen took getting used to).

The data plan obviously now plays into my decision on what to get so that leaves all smart phones out (I can't justify spending an extra $30 a month for one) and a very limited selection on the multimedia phones I'd spend $10 on.

I just use my phone for calls, texting, and the occasional picture. Reception and Battery Life is a must. I download an occasional game or two that I end up playing only 5 times, and I love the VCast Song ID. I also like to make my own ringtones and backgrounds with bitpim. That's about it. I'm trying to stick with a phone that can take a little bit of a beating due to my line of work.

I saw the Env3 in the store and played with it a bit, and liked the keypad and keyboard on it (I don't use T9 but a keyboard would be nice). I wouldn't mind paying the data plan fee for a keyboard and a good camera w/flash. I could check the weather or something I guess.

Most of the "feature phones" felt cheap except for the Motorola Barrage. It reminds me of my last 3 phones, is built specifically to take a beating, and doesn't require the $10 data plan (but the LG-8360 does which I don't understand at all).

Thoughts? Experiences with either? Any input would be greatly appreciated...
