need help getting scammed by used car dealership?

Ok so i bought this car back in october(the 30th to be exact) and it came with a 1k 1 month mile warranty and the warranty stated engine/trans they will pay 30% to repair.
1 week after I bought it the tranny started to slip so i called the dealer ship up and they had me bring it in and they said they took it to 2 Transmission experts and there was nothing wrong with the tranny that I should drive with OD button pushed on at all times that having it off (I live in wv our main road is route 50 and its 55 mph with hills/mountains and 25mph hair pin turns so i travel with it off)will make the tranny go bad. So i got it back home and 2 weeks later it started to slip one day then it went completely out.!
I took the car to my local mechanic guru and he is going to put in a new tranny for me and it needs parts to pass inspection. Now this car had dealership tags on it and was sold from a used dealership for 4500 dollars. I was told that they can not sell a car that will not pass inspection(when i bought it one headlight was out and was told by dealership it was a bad bulb, come to find out there was a short in the vehicle wiring.) So the cost of the new tranny is 750 dollars plush 900 labor which comes out to about 1650 and the dealer said he would pay me 400 bucks and deduct it off my bill if i pay the car off by the 1st of march which is a remaining 1200 dollars.
Now here comes the part i think im getting ripped on. It needs new tires all new breaks and rotors and upper and outer tie rods and exhaust clips and the short in the passenger side low beam fixed to pass inspection which comes out to about 1000 dollars is there anyway under wv law that i can make him cover part of the expense or all if I take him to court. And if so what type of lawyer would I call? Ty guys for your upcoming answers!
