need help gear box

Just yesterday I had to fight my gear box to neutral. Should I just take the bike to the dealer or there screw I need to adjust or lubricate.

Exactly what happens, when I try to put the bike in neutral at a the light the half click skips to second because I have to apply so much force just to get the foot lever to move. After concentration and a couple of tries it works.

Is your 1098 relatively new? If so, give it and yourself some time to adjust.

Initially, I had a bit of difficulty in getting to N, coming from Kawasakis that have a positive neutral finder. Now, though, it's not a problem at all.

I found this to be a similar situation when mine was new as well, but not now. No problems now. Try shifting her to neutral as your rolling to a stop, I found that much easier until she's broken in.

Another thing, a friend of mine installed Pazzo levers, which as you may or may not know are adjustable. Turns out they weren't set properly so when he pulled in his clutch to the bar, it simply wasn't enough. Couple of clicks of adjustment to increase the travel and problem solved.

I believe this is the problem, I have over 1500 miles on the bike. Where did he adjust.
Thanks Again.

The lever itself has a small lever on it, you can't miss it. Moving this lever adjuster brings the pazzo lever closer or farther from the bar. The farther from the bar the more travel, the more travel the better the clutch engagement.

I adjusted the screw clockwise to as far in as possible, get definitely seems to be the problem however when the bike is off it is easy going to neutral however when the bike is on it is a task. Is there a combination of things to do or is there something else I can do. Just to be sure the sure in question is like a knob infront of the clutch lever.

Yes, that is the adjsuter for the clutch lever rest position. If you adjust it farther from the bar, it'll disengage the clutch farther when it is pulled in completely. There isn't a combination of things you need to do- your clutch simply isn't disengaging thoroughly enough.
