This Wednesday, I will gave a short presentation on DAMIAN ORTEGA.
However, I need images for the presentation.
What are some images that you think I should use?
Also, I want to write a presenation paper for ALL MY CLASSMATES. What do you think I should include in my presentation paper?
I believe that, the paper on the Contemporary artist should follow the structure of an outline that could be used in class, af if presenting it you :] :] :]
What do I want for content?
1 One paragraph to describe the biography of the Damian, more important elements: year and place of birth, education, solo and group exhibitions ( more important ones) and other projects.
2 Explain the technical aspects of the work in general terms and specially the conceptual frame and content based elements. Think about introducing the work to a viewer that does not know the work at all. (But not into the specifics of the works).
3 talk about different periods if this is relevant or compare DAMIAN to other artists or movements.
4 Choose 2 or 3 works and describe them, not just visually but explain how do they work conceptually and what possible readings or relations can be established. Use academic language and facts to support ideas.
5 Finally write one or two final conclusive paragraphs summarizing the more important aspects of Damians practice and concepts, and explain why they are relevant.
