I have a 1996 honda accord and my headunit has quit working. I was trying to fix my cigerette lighter/aux output, removed the main fuse under the hood, removed the casing holding the stereo in and everything, then when I put the headunit back in it wont turn on. I replaced the main fuse as well. The headunit seems to be getting power because I am able to push the eject button on the headunit and a cd will pop out. When I looked at the wiring diagram one of the wires is illumination, so I am not sure if that would be the problem wire or not. The fuse on the back of the headunit seems to be fine as well, being that the little wire inside of it is still connected. Can somebody please give me some ideas of what to check on next?? I really appreciate any help, im stuck in a hole right now!
