We have been trying to fix the cv axel on our 1994 ford escort lx and have been having problems with it. We were able to remove the front part of the cv axel, but the piece that fits into the transmission will not come loose. We have tried hammers, breaker bars, etc, but have not been able to remove the piece. We are able to get quite a bit of leverage that would help it pop out, but still are having problems. Any ideas on how we would be able to get it out of there would be great!
