Need help finding a night club/ Bar with an older crowd in LA county...?

Im looking for a place to take my mom to dance/drink and just let loose for her 51st birthday in LA County. Prefferably Pico Rivera, Whittier, or surrounding cities. Most important thing is that it has to have an older crowd. 40's and 50 year olds. Ive tried to take her out before and she felt out of place and very uncomfortable because she was practically the oldest in the crowd. She is single so I wanted her to mingle and feel comfortable around her own age group. Something fun but not too too loud.
Forgot to add that she does not speak spanish. A place with a band would be nice but not necessary. All suggesstions are very welcomed
 
senior citizen club ...just kidding there is this bar called casa torrez ,music drinks , cool place, decent crowd, another would be el mercadito , they have mariachi , alcohol, music , .Not sure if those are your kind of places is she down with the spanish music ?
