So I'm a junior in High School and am really interested in getting a Music Education degree. I have been playing piano for 8 years, but it's only in the past year have that I've gotten very serious about it and have delved further into music theory and sight reading as I now attend a pedagogy at University of Michigan. My grades in school aren't the best, around a 2.8. I'm trying to raise it to a 3.0 by the time I start my applications though. Anyway, I'm looking for school recommendations of places I could actually get into. I would prefer somewhere in a larger city and also out of the midwest.
