Need help deciding wat to get for first car.?

I am about to be 16 and I want to learn how to drive a car thats manual. I dont know what car to get. I want it to be fast though. I thought about getting a mitsubishi lancer evo but im not ready for one yet. Any ideas of any cars that are fast and are sticks???O and that r under about $20,000. Thank you
