Hello All -
This is my 1st post and I think it's ok to post in this forum.. My sprint contract is up in April.. I'm debating on going to Droid (Verizon Wireless) or the Samsung Moment (Sprint).. Don't know which one to get.. I'm trying to get owners if not opinions from the community on which one to get.. I know, I know people will say get the IPhone from AT&T but I've had WAY to much trouble with AT&T in the past and don't want to go back to them.. I'm sure Sprint will give me money for an upgrade but my service with them has been about a B average.. However I've never tried Verizon Wireless but I heard many good things about them.. Any input or feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!.. Thanks!

This is one of those moments that you're choosing between two beautiful girls in a love triangle.

I don't feel that there isn't that much difference between Verizon and Sprint---yes, they share towers and network. Really boils down to the plans and the phones themselves. Between the two, I am more inclined with the Droid, but the Moment is a lovely phone too.

Reasons for the Droid
- Android 2.0 soon to be updated to 2.1
- larger 3.7" screen
- faster processor
- probably cheaper price

Reasons for the Moment
- Brilliant AMOLED screen
- apparently might have a better keyboard.

The Android on the Moment is older at v1.5 compared to the Droid, but it maybe updated to 2.0 or 2.1, though.

When it comes to choices like these, its better to do a hands on evaluation for the final decision.

Depending on what and if any discounts I can swing that maybe a deciding factor as well..VW has an expensive plan but Sprint seems to have more discounts out there.. Going to be tough come April .. If u have any help on discounts for VW that would be beneficial please let me know.. Thanks!

It seems that Sprint's plans are cheaper and you get more from them than Verizon's plans. For $70/mo, Sprint gives you 450 minutes, unlimited calling to ANY mobile phone, unlimited text messages, and unlimited data. Verizon gives you 450 minutes and unlimited data, but you have to add the messages yourself. Also, for multiple lines, Sprint's plans are way better.

On the other hand, many Verizon customers are completely aware that they're paying more and say it's worth it for the great coverage. So it's up to you.
