i plan on getting pet fish. i know i have to cycle my tank first, i read the sites and everything but it seems too easy. so all i have to do is put some food in an empty tank for a couple of days and measure levels of ammonia and nitrite and nitrate and that's it?
and also, i understand that you don't put all the fish in at one time, how long apart should i put my fish in and do i have to do something special between? can i put 3 or 4 of the same type of fish at the same time?
