Need help cooking dinner?!! PLEASE!?

OK so the only thing i've cooked before is pretty much easy mac. My mom is down the shore and I am left to cook for my dad me and my fiance. I want to make simple BBQ chicken in the oven. What do i heat the oven to, how long do i cook it for, and at what point do i put the BBQ sauce on??
 
Lay the chicken out in a casserole dish, cover with barbecue sauce. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Open the oven about every half hour and brush on some extra sauce.

It all depends on how quick you need it to be done. You typically would place the oven on 350. The time at which you put the bbq sauce on is up to you. You can put some on before it goes into the oven as base. And then place some more on as it bakes. You can also keep placing them on as it bakes and you flip it. Timing is key.
 
Bake chicken pieces at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Drain off fat. Cover chicken with sauce and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
